Luke Francis is off to an impressive start to his senior year. Last week he finished 1st out of 275 runners at the Cool Breeze Invitational at Brookside Park in Pasadena and this week he set the pace and finished in the top spot in the first Hacienda League race of the season. Luke’s time was 30 seconds faster than the competition and helped the Boys team finish in 2nd place overall.
The Lady Conqueror Cross Country team took 3rd place overall at this weeks race. Strong performances were also turned in by Brandon Leung who came in 4th in the JV race and Adrian Estrada who finished 2nd overall in the Frosh/Soph race.
The teams will race again next week at the Woodbridge Invitational held at SilverLakes Complex in Eastvale and again on the 28th at Dana Hills Invitational. The next Hacienda League Race is on October 9th at Bonelli Park.
